Sister City Outreach to Bermuda

Sultan Mohammed joined with his sister, Huda Durri, during Eid Al-Fitr on May 14, 2021 to connect with Emir Saleem Talbot from the Bermuda Islamic Cultural Center and the Bermuda Committee for Human Fraternity.

During a brief dialog with Bermuda Governor, Her Excellency Rena Lalgie, the Most Reverend Bishop Wes Spiewac from the Roman Catholic Diocese, Muktar Ware from the Ethiopian Consulate in Los Angeles and Dr. Adrian Dove from the Congress of Racial Equality of California to promote “sister city” outreach around the world.

The Bermuda Islamic Cultural Centre operates from an historic Bermuda Cottage that was once used as accommodation for enslaved Africans at the Winterhaven Plantation.
